How to connect Mr & Mrs Smith (Smith Hotels) to myfrontdesk

Step 1 - Getting Started

If you do not have an account at Mr & Mrs Smith:

Create an account at Mr & Mrs Smith. Here's the sign-up link: https://smithhotels.typeform.com/to/S67uwv

Once you fill out the form, you will get auto assigned to a regional Mr & Mrs Smith hotel partnerships manager who will be in touch if they are interested in hearing more. Please note, Mr & Mrs Smith doesn't necessarily respond to everyone due to request volume.

If you do have an account at Mr & Mrs Smith:

Go ahead and proceed with Step 2

Step 2. Start mapping Mr & Mrs Smith in myfrontdesk

Ask your Mr & Mrs Smith Account Manager to provide your Hotel ID for mapping inside myfrontdesk

  1. Go to myfrontdesk and open Channels pag and search for Mr & Mrs Smith channel
  2. Click on 'Not Setup.'

3. Click to enable the channel

4. Enter Hotel ID provided by the channel. This will send a request to the channel to enable the connection for channel management.

You will be notified via email when the connection has been enabled and your rooms are ready for mapping.

Note: If you have not been approved by Mr & Mrs Smith yet, your request will be rejected. If you have not yet signed up with the channel, please email activations@smithhotels.com or click here to begin the registration process.

The channel will be set to 'Awaiting Activation' until you're notified that the rooms are ready for mapping.

5. Once you're notified via email that the rooms are ready for mapping, go back to Channels page.

'Mr & Mrs Smith' should be set to status 'Ready for mapping'. Click on it.

6. Click on 'Continue'

7. Select the Mr & Mrs Smith rooms from the drop down that correspond to myfrontdesk rooms and click NEXT when completed

8. Select which channel rate plan should be updated with your base rates

 We highly recommended mapping only one channel room-type to one matching room-type on your PMS.

9. Add Base Rate Adjustment if needed

The mapping is done!

10. Perform a Full Refresh to send rates/availability from myfrontdesk to the channel
