How to Connect Reconline to Cloudbeds PMS

How to connect Reconline to Cloudbeds PMS

Step 1 - Getting Started
  • If you don’t have an account at Reconline:
  1. Register your property with Reconline here.
  2. Complete the Reconline Onboarding Process.
  3. Proceed with Step 2.
  • If you do have an account at Reconline
  1. Proceed with Step 2.
Step 2. Select/Enable myallocator as Channel Manager on Reconline

Request the channel manager activation on Reconline as follows:

  1. Login to your Reconline extranet and open Reconline CRS
  2. Choose section Hotel
  3. Select Data Partner
  1. Choose myallocator (channel manager by Cloudbeds) under Channel Manager type 1  
  2. Select how you would like to receive your bookings:
    • receipt of bookings by e-mail: please enter the e-mail address. In case of more than one, they have to be separated by a ; (semicolon)
    • receipt of bookings by Channel Manager (goes into the channel manager’s extranet).
  3. Check the box I accept GDPR Agreement.

Per Reconline: The EU protection of data privacy regulation (General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was implemented on May 25, 2018.

  1. Our support team will enable the channel internally and you will be able to map the channel accordingly. It can take 24 hours, and you will receive a notification once it's ready for mapping.
Step 3 - Start mapping Reconline in Cloudbeds PMS


After receiving our ready for mapping notification, access your Cloudbeds PMS account and follow the steps below:

  1. Click on your settings (gear icon)
  2. Channels
  3. Click on Ready for Mapping
  4. Click Next to proceed

5. Select Reconline rooms from the drop down which correspond to myallocator (channel manager by Cloudbeds) rooms and click NEXT when completed.

6. Add Base Rate Adjustment for each room type if needed. Click NEXT when completed or if you want to skip.

7. According to your Reconline configurations, choose the Guarantee Policy and Cancellation Possible options

The mapping is complete.

Step 4 - Adding Breakfast Inclusive / Exclusive Option

For several channels - including Reconline - it is important to know whether nightly rates include or exclude breakfast. Check below to check how to setup this option:

Reconline does not Support:

  • Close days for departure
What kind of property can be listed in Reconline?
  1. Location: high demand destinations - mostly corporate travel, some remote destinations with factories etc and major tourism destinations where you need travel agents (eg Patagonia).
  2. Rooms: minimum 10 - Reconline is specialized in smaller/midsized properties

Reconline Onboarding Process
  1. The property submits a connection request
  2. Reconline qualifies the request after review
  3. The agreement is signed
  4. Reconline assigns an account and login for the property
  5. The wizard takes the property through the steps to fill in their data (c. 30-45 minutes)
  6. A revision is done by the system
  7. The information feeds into the GDS and the property launches.

Reconline will set the property live on GDS 8-10 days after they verify it.
