How to Enable Apple Pay and Google Pay

Apple Pay and Google Pay are available through Cloudbeds Payments, our integrated payment gateway. To enable these methods:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Payments > Additional and Custom Payment Methods.
  2. Click Add New Payment Type and select Apple Pay and Google Pay.

This is how it will look for your guests: depending on their device, they will see either Apple or Google Pay.

Using Apple Pay and Google Pay

  • Online Bookings: Guests can use Apple Pay or Google Pay during checkout on your booking engine, enjoying a seamless payment experience.
  • Pay-by-Link: Guests can also use these wallets to pay through secure payment links, simplifying the payment process for invoices and other transactions.
  • In-Person Payments: Guests can use their Apple or Google Pay-enabled devices at Cloudbeds Payments terminals (available in select countries) for in-person payments.

Important Notes:

❗Apple Pay and Google Pay support immediate payment collection only. They cannot be used for deposits, recurring payments, or authorizations.

❗If your property's configuration requires deposits or payment authorizations or only stores credit card data for future use, Apple Pay and Google Pay will not be displayed as payment options.
