1. Content Tools
To add a new element to your email:
- Drag a tool from the right panel and drop it onto the desired area in the email design on the left.
- To edit a content block, simply click on it in the email designer. The selected block will be highlighted in blue, and you will see options to move, delete, or duplicate it.
Once a tool is selected, you’ll see customization options on the right, allowing you to adjust properties like columns, padding, spacing, and colors. To close and deselect a current item, click the button at the top right of the tools section.
Available Content Tools
- Columns: Divide your email into multiple columns of various widths.
- Button: Add a button with a clickable link.
- Divider: Create vertical space between items.
- Heading: Add a title or heading text.
- HTML: Insert custom HTML code.
- Image: Upload a custom image.
- Menu: Add horizontally spaced menu items.
- Social: Create links to social media profiles.
- Text: Add a block of text.
Text Tool
When you click on a Text block, you’ll find various formatting options for font, color, and links. You can also add Merge Tags to personalize the email with guest details, such as their name or booking information.
Image Tool
Clicking on an Image block lets you upload an image, create a hyperlink, or edit the image. Click Apply Effects & More to access a photo editor for cropping and adding effects.

2. Blocks
Blocks are the foundational structure of your email. They let you arrange the layout by creating columns or sections where you can drop various content elements.
3. Body
The Body section allows you to set a default color, font, and style for the entire email. This ensures a consistent look and feel throughout the design.
4. Images
Cloudbeds CRM provides access to a vast library of royalty-free images. Search and incorporate these directly into your emails to enhance visual appeal.
5. Uploads
In the Uploads section, you can create a personal library of frequently used images, making it easy to access for future campaigns.
6. Device-Based Rendering
Once your email is complete, you can test its appearance on various devices—computer, tablet, and smartphone—using the preview buttons on the bottom left. This helps ensure your email is responsive and looks great on any screen.
