How should I configure taxes and fees to apply to add-ons and room revenue on the reservation?
To ensure accurate tax and fee application on add-ons and room revenue in Cloudbeds, it's essential to mirror the tax structure used on the booking channel. For example, if a reservation on Booking.com incurs a tax of 16% and 3.5%, but the breakfast add-on is only subject to a 16% tax, you should apply both the 16% and 3.5% tax to the breakfast add-on in Cloudbeds. This alignment of tax rates and fees is crucial to ensure that the total amount for the reservation in Cloudbeds matches the total presented on Booking.com.
