How to connect Spain Basque Fiscal Receipts (TicketBai)

Overview

Add Spain Basque Fiscal Receipts (TicketBai) in the Marketplace to connect your properties to the TicketBAI system, a regional tax authority platform. This feature allows the generation of fully compliant invoices directly within TicketBAI without exiting Cloudbeds PMS. In this article, you'll learn how to connect and disconnect the app.

 This integration is currently available only for properties in:

  • Araba/Álava (Basque Country)
  • Bizkaia/Biscay (Basque Country)
  • Gipuzkoa (Basque Country)

How to connect

Step 1 - Configure Invoices

  1. Go to Account Account menu.png and click Settings Settings.png
  2. Click on Payments Payments icon.png and go to Invoicing Details in the Invoicing tab
  3. Select the series you want for your invoices by choosing a Suffix.

 The integration ignores the Prefix and the Starting Index Number fields.

  1. Under the Company Details section, switch the Show company details toggle ON.
  2. Fill in the Legal Company Name. Enter your VAT ID in the Tax ID Number 1 field. Leave Tax ID Number 2 empty.
  3. Click Save

  1. Now go to the Invoicing Settings tab and set Select when to generate invoice to Manually
  2. In the section Invoice Layout Settings ensure you:
    • Check Show the room number column on the invoice
    • Check Show tax/fee specifics on the invoice
    • Uncheck Use compact invoices
    • Uncheck Use guest's Document Number
    • Check Show package breakdown option
  1. Click Save

Step 2 - Configure Taxes

Go to Taxes and Fees and make sure you have the following taxes configured:

Tax IVA 10% Inclusive Items; Reservations Percentage of total amount 10% No VAT-10
Tax IVA 21% Inclusive Items; Reservations Percentage of total amount 21% No VAT-21

 

 Make sure your Sources have the right taxes assigned.

Step 3 - Connect the app

  1. Connect the Spain Basque Fiscal Receipts (TicketBai) app in the Marketplace: How to Connect an App to Cloudbeds PMS.
  2. You will be prompted to select the property to which you want to connect the app.
  3. Allow Access to the listed items when prompted.

  1. Once the connection process has finished, you will be redirected to the Connected Apps section.
  2. From the app, click Settings

  1. Select the values for Tipo de factura a usar and Régimen de tributación en el IVA that apply to your business.
  2. Enter the Próximo número de factura.
  3. Click Submit

  By regulation, it’s mandatory to register the property’s integration as a device on Fiskaly’s portal. This can be done by following the steps below.

  1. Go back to the app’s settings and take note of the “Número de serie de Fiskaly como dispositivo.”

  1. With the “Número de serie de Fiskaly como dispositivo” in hand, follow Fiskaly’s Guide.

 When do I need to register Cloudbeds with TicketBAI's Portal app?

  • Araba/Álava (Basque Country): After connecting the app, before generating the first invoice.
  • Bizkaia/Biscay (Basque Country): After connecting the app, before generating the first invoice.
  • Gipuzkoa (Basque Country): After connecting the app, within 29 days of generating the first invoice.
