As a premier provider of hospitality management software, we understand the importance of delivering a tailored and seamless booking experience for our customers. Based on this, we have designed three solutions (tiers) specifically designed to customize your Cloudbeds Booking Engine Plus:

Important information
- Choosing your service tier: If you're unsure which tier to pick, purchase tier one. We can adjust it after the 30-minute kick-off call with the assigned customization specialist. The timeline for delivering the service will be discussed during the initial kick-off call meeting.
- Tier examples: The examples shown in each tier below give you an idea of possible customization. If you do not find your requirements on the list below, we will review any booking engine request that you may have.
- Onboarding will be offered in English. Spanish and Portuguese onboarding will be available upon request.

Customization options: Your website developer can make changes using the customization section of the booking engine settings. Our booking engine services are optional.

Custom code clarification: Any changes made using custom code only affect the visual appearance of the Booking Engine's website, not the system's settings or email templates.
- With newer releases of the booking engine, customizations may need updating. Updates or changes to completed customizations will require a new engagement.
- Booking Engine customization services do not include Google Analytics setup and management.
Booking Engine customization tiers
- The Basic tier focuses on refining the existing default text elements, images, and colors within the Cloudbeds Booking Engine Plus to resonate closely with brand ethos and messaging.
- Customization of the booking engine's default text content includes updating existing headings, subheadings, and paragraph texts to reflect the preferred tone and language.
Adding elements to the booking engine or changing its functionality will require Tier 2 or 3 customization.
Tier 1 customization examples
Landing page (Home)
- Default font color: White > Customized to light green
- Default heading text: Select stay dates > Customized to "Select the dates of your new adventure!"
- Default button text: Search > Customized to "Check availability"
Accommodation selection and shopping cart example
- Customization of button texts such as “Add accommodations" can be aligned seamlessly with the target audience.
- Book Now button text can also be customized to match the Booking Engine with your property’s offerings.
Tier 1 Customization services scope of work
- One (1) scheduled meeting to outline desired Tier 1 customizations and create an agreed-on list of customizations and a delivery timeline.
- Delivery of requested customizations.
- Based on your feedback, we will perform one (1) batch of revisions to the requested customizations. Additional revision requests or new items will incur additional costs.
- A maximum of 5 customizations are allowed
- The target timeline of completion is 7-10 business days from the kick-off call. A timeline will be confirmed after the initial consultation call with our specialist.
- Tier 2 is required when the desired customizations to the booking engine involve adding or removing functionality, text elements, or widgets that don’t exist in the booking engine by default. These customizations include:
- Integration of additional text elements not present in the default booking engine setup, such as custom messages.
- Introduction of elements such as custom text in specific locations to enrich user engagement and interaction.
- Concealment of specific elements within the booking engine interface that may not align with the customer’s business objectives or branding strategy.
- Override modification of elements, such as hiding add-ons, or modifying content in the existing booking workflows to cater to your unique business requirements.
- Introduction of widgets and other elements such as social media buttons and iFrames embedded into the Booking Engine to run external content within the Booking Engine.
- As a Tier 2 customization, floating elements, as well as the positioning, colors, and other customizations and functions of the button itself, can be included.
Tier 2 customization examples
- Custom text added to the bottom of the availability search card on the landing page
- Custom text in specific locations to enrich user engagement and interaction
- Additional text information included at the bottom of the Shopping Cart
Tier 2 Customization services scope of work
- One (1) scheduled meeting to outline desired Tier 2 customizations and create an agreed-on list of customizations and a delivery timeline.
- Delivery of requested customizations.
- Based on your feedback, we will perform one (1) batch of revisions to the requested customizations. Additional revision requests or new items will incur additional costs.
- Note: Tier 2 customizations do not include Tier 1 customizations. If both are required, they must both be purchased separately but can be managed in the same process.
- Modification requests will be evaluated during the consultation call.
- Complex modifications determined during the call may require upgrading to the Tier 3 package.
- A maximum of 3 customizations are allowed.
- The target timeline of completion is 7-10 business days from the kick-off call. A timeline will be confirmed after the initial consultation call with our specialist.
- In this tier, we provide other booking engine customizations that require complex or dynamic functionality.
- During the 30-minute consultation call, the assigned Advanced Support Specialist will evaluate your requirements.

- Delivery of 2 requested customizations.
- Based on your feedback, we will perform one (1) batch of revisions to the requested customizations. Additional revision requests or new items will incur additional costs.
- 1 customization will be executed for each engagement.
- The target timeline of completion is 7-10 business days from the kick-off call. A timeline will be confirmed after the initial consultation call with our specialist.
