Tripadvisor has discontinued support for new accommodation businesses for their Instant Book product.
Overview
Starting November 11, 2025, new sign-ups are no longer accepted. Properties that activated Tripadvisor Instant Book before this date can continue using it, but the program is closed to anyone new.
Cloudbeds will continue supporting Instant Book only for properties that already have an active connection with Tripadvisor.
Tripadvisor is directing hotels who are not enrolled to focus on other solutions, including Business Advantage, Sponsored Placements, and Cost-Per-Click (CPC).
Who can still use Instant Book
Hotels already enrolled
If your property activated Instant Book before November 11, 2025, your connection remains valid. Cloudbeds will continue sending your rates, availability, and restrictions as usual.
Hotels not previously enrolled
New activations are no longer possible. Tripadvisor Instant Book does not appears in Cloudbeds PMS Distribution page, and the Tripadvisor team has disabled the signup path and will not accept new participants.
What changes for Cloudbeds users
What stays the same (for existing hotels)
- Your existing connection continues to function.
- Cloudbeds will keep sending inventory, restrictions, and pricing.
- If your listing previously displayed the “View Deal” button (and guests will be presented with the option of paying for the booking directly within Tripavisor, as shown below) it should continue to appear as long as Tripadvisor keeps your account active.
What no longer works
- New properties cannot activate Instant Book.
- The old “connection steps” shown in earlier versions of this article no longer apply.
- Cloudbeds cannot re-enable or complete Tripadvisor Instant Book activation if Tripadvisor hasn’t enabled it on their side.

Is Tripadvisor Instant Book discontinued?
Tripadvisor has closed new sign-ups for Instant Book. Properties that activated it before November 11, 2025 can continue using it, but new activations are no longer possible.
Can I activate Instant Book now?
No. Tripadvisor has disabled the activation flow, so Cloudbeds cannot start or restart the program for new hotels.
What should I do if something seems wrong with my Tripadvisor Instant Book connection?
Follow these steps:
- Confirm with your Tripadvisor representative that your Instant Book status is still active.
- If Tripadvisor confirms your account is active, contact Cloudbeds Support so we can review the connection and data feed on our side.
