Our system offers sending different types of email. The first two are confirmed and confirmation pending. The email that will be sent to a guest depends on this setting inside of the Policies section:
If you've set it to be: Immediately confirm online reservations without verifying deposit payment, our system will automatically send a confirmation email.
For online reservations, require confirmation of the deposit payment before reservation is confirmed triggers a confirmation pending email. Even if the deposit was confirmed during the reservation, the system will still automatically send a confirmation pending email first. The confirmation email will be sent when you confirm a reservation.
This article refers to direct reservation only. All the reservations that come from channels are already confirmed.
