How to connect
- Click Account
- Select Apps & Marketplace
- Search for Portugal Police and click Learn More
- On the App preview, click Connect App. You will then be prompted to authorize the app to access specific data from your Cloudbeds account.
- This will bring you back to the Marketplace Connected Apps Page. Access the Portugal Police Report integration and click App Page.
- Click Settings
- Enter in the NIPC da Unidade Hoteleira, the Número de estabelecimento.
- Enter the Chave de Ativação you obtained from the SEF. This guide provides instructions for finding it.
- Submit
To use the integration, you must change our SIBA accounts so that your "Método de envio" is "Web Service." This is only possible by contacting SIBA's support at siba@ssi.gov.pt and requesting the modification. Once requested, they'll send an email to the property owner, which they will have to confirm.
How to sync guest data
- Syncing guest data happens automatically at 4 a.m. for guests who checked in the previous day. Only guest reservations with the status In House (checked in) or Checked Out will be reported to SEF. Reservations marked as Confirmed will not be taken into account.
- You can validate that data is flowing by logging into the SEF portal.
- If an error occurs during the sync process, it will be posted back to the Property Logs as Application Errors. You can review the errors by navigating to Settings > Logs and using the "API and Apps" filter under the Change Made section.
Once the integration is enabled, you should validate that guest data is syncing to the SEF portal.
All guest basic information is mandatory for sending the report. Basic information includes:
- Firstname
- Lastname
- Complete birthdate
- Complete address
- Complete document information
It’s important to be aware that if the integration fails to send reports, sending them through the portal is not an option. However, should you decide to revert to using the portal for report submissions, contact SIBA’s support team with your request, and they will be happy to assist you with the change.
