Why I can´t add a direct reservation?


This article will discuss the most likely reasons that a direct reservation cannot be created.

Step 1: Log into Myfrontdesk by Cloudbeds

Possible Causes - Availability

  1. Click Calendar
  2. Verify how many rooms are available in each of the rooms category for each day

Possible Causes - Rate Plans

After checking availability, make sure that each date of stay has a Rate Plan associated. If one day has no rate plan assigned, the system will mark the reservation as unacceptable.

  1. Rates
  2. Best Avaialble Rate
  3. Review the Start and End date for the Rate Plan to ensure the reservation has an applicable rate plan associated.

Possible Causes - Restrictions

  1. While reviewing the rate plans, ensure that no restrictions exist that would preven the reservation from being accepted, such as Minimum Night Stay or Maximim Night Stay.
