How can I prevent same-day bookings?


This article shows you how to enable/disable the option same-day Bookings.

If disabled, this feature will prevent same day bookings on mybookings and all of your connected channels.

This feature applies to mybookings and all connected channels that support this feature

When the local time of the property reached the time specified cutoff time,  myallocator (Channel Manager by Cloudbeds) will auto-set the inventory to zero and close out the room for that same day.

Since Cloudbeds does not control each partners' features, we suggest verifying with the channels (OTAs) if they have their own cutoff times.

How to enable 'same-day bookings' feature

  1. Click the gear (manage) icon
  2. Go to General System Settings
  3. Scroll down to Automation Preferences and switch the Allow same-day bookings on mybookings and channels toggle ON (green)
  4. Same-day bookings until: If turned ON you can specify the time the guests will not be allowed to book for the same-day arrival.

    Note: Time range starts from 00:00 AM - 23:59 PM. You can leave the button OFF to allow guests to book same-day booking 24 hours.

To disable the feature switch 'Allow same-day bookings on mybookings and channels' toggle OFF (grey)
