House Account - How to Add Item and Adjust Charges in House Account

This article shows how to add items or adjust charges in your House Account.

Add an Item
  1. Go to the House Account page and click on House Account

2.   Click on Add/Adjust Charge

3.   Select Add Item

  1. Choose the Category
  2. Select the product from category
  3. Select if you want to post with current date and time
    • When this box is checked the current date and time will be posted for the transaction. You can uncheck if adding a transaction for sometime in the past.
  4. Enter the price
  5. Select the quantity - the system will calculate the total price
  6. Select the payment type
  7. Add notes if needed
  8. Click on Add item

The item will be displayed in the table of house account.

You may void the item added by clicking on the gear icon as shown below:

Adjust Charge
  1. Go to House Account and click on  the desired House Account
  1. Click on Add/Adjust Charge
  2. Select Adjust Charge
  1. Enter charge amount
  2. Select where Apply Adjustment to
  3. Select if you want to post with current date and time
    • When this box is checked the current date and time will be posted for the transaction. You can uncheck if adding a transaction for sometime in the past.
  4. Enter notes if desired
  5. Click on Adjust Charge

Adjustments will be displayed in the house account under debit section in pink color.
