OXXO - Payment method for Mexico

• You run businesses with customers that do not have cards;
• You run businesses with customers that do not have bank accounts;
• Retailers with consumers in countries like Mexico, where card authorizations rates are low and offering a backup payment option improves conversion.

• You deliver goods immediately after checkout. Some customers may not complete payment and it can take one business day to receive a payment confirmation.
• You need to issue refunds. OXXO does not allow for refunds to be issued, therefore if a refund is needed, other means of payment would need to be considered.

1. Customers book online.
2. At the checkout, they select OXXO as their payment method.
3. Upon continuing, they receive a voucher, and it is sent via email.
4. The voucher allows customers to pay in cash for their purchase at an OXXO store.
5. Customers present the voucher to the cashier at an OXXO store to make the payment.
6. Once the payment is successfully made at the OXXO store:
   • OXXO sends a confirmation to the payments platform.
   • This confirmation is typically received within one business day, but it may take longer depending on when OXXO processes the transaction.
   • The payment status will be displayed as "processing" until the payment is completed.
   • If the payment is not received, the transaction will reflect as "Expired."

7. They present their voucher (take out printed).

Voucher expires after 7 days. The voucher expires at 23:59 on the seventh day after the voucher was issued, if the customer does not visit an OXXO store and pay for the voucher. OXXO can be used for reservations under 7 days, but the reservation is not confirmed until the payment is completed.
