Whistle Messaging - How to Enable Airbnb Messaging Integration

With Airbnb Messaging integration, you are able to send and receive messages from guests contacting you through Airbnb. Check in this article how to enable this integration.

Things to note before enabling Airbnb Messaging

  • Only the main host account logged in Airbnb can connect to the channel in Cloudbeds PMS, be sure you have the permission to connect Airbnb before moving forward with the integration in Whistle for Cloudbeds.
  • Airbnb has an "Off-Platform Policy" aiming to keep the contact about reservations in their own platform. This policy forbids users from taking information in other places. This means your Airbnb messages via Whistle should not include any of the following: Website links, phone numbers and emails.
