You may need to void an item for different reasons: it was added by mistake or the guest changed his mind etc. Please, check the article below for the instructions on how to void a previously added item from the reservation.
In order to void an item, follow the steps below:
- Access the applicable reservation and navigate to Folio
- Click on settings icon in front of the applicable transaction and choose to Void Transaction
- Carefully read the message in the pop-out window and click CONTINUE

Voided transactions will still be shown in the transactions report, but they will not influence the balance due.
As a result, the transaction will be voided and will disappear from the folio:
There is no specific time frame when you can or can not void an item. It can be voided at any time and while having any reservation status.
Where can I see voided transactions?
Please follow the steps below in order to find voided transactions:
- Go to Reports
- Click on Financial Reports
- Then access the Transactions report
- All voided transactions and Items are accessible in the report and noted in the description field
