Custom Training - Everything You Need to Know

Cloudbeds Training recognizes that our customers deserve more than a one-size-fits-all training model. Different properties require different levels of training and education to implement our award-winning products, that is why we have created a menu of training services to fit your training needs and your budget.

Custom Training is currently available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Cloudbeds Custom Training

Cloudbeds Custom Training provides two tailored training sessions to ensure your property gets the most out of your Cloudbeds products. All training will be personalized to your property’s processes, policies, and specialized needs.

Choose one of the sessions below or both of them for a total training experience:

Custom User Training

Custom User Training covers day-to-day operations for your front-line staff to minimize costly errors, maximize efficiencies, and streamline guest experience. Among others, it is recommended for:

  • New properties going live
  • Existing properties experiencing high front-line turnover
  • Front desk employees
  • Front desk supervisors

Training Topics:

What's included?

  • Live, scenario-based lessons and demonstrations using a pre-configured demo, and tailored around the customer's specific needs
  • A consultation call with your trainer to outline your training preferences
  • In-class scenario-based activities so the staff can practice their daily tasks in a no-risk environment
  • A video recording of the training session
  • Access to the pre-configured demo for 7 days post training so the staff can continue to practice their daily tasks in a no-risk environment
Custom Management Training

Custom Management Training teaches your management team how to utilize Cloudbeds products to streamline day-to-day operations, improve revenue, and increase occupancy.  Lessons will focus on how to manage the system, rates & revenue, and how to pull reports on property performance. Among others, it is recommended for:

  • New properties going live
  • Existing properties experiencing high management turnover or restructuring
  • Revenue Managers
  • Sales & Marketing Managers
  • Operations Managers
  • General Managers
  • Properties looking to get more out of their Cloudbeds products

Training Topics:

What's included?

  • Live, scenario-based lessons and demonstrations using a pre-configured demo, and tailored around the customer's specific needs
  • A consultation call with your trainer to outline your training preferences
  • In-class scenario-based activities so the staff can practice their daily tasks in a no-risk environment
  • A video recording of the training session
  • Access to the pre-configured demo for 7 days post training so the staff can continue to  practice their daily tasks in a no-risk environment

Training Timeline

  • Within 1 Week of Purchase: Your trainer will send you a welcome email to schedule your consultation call in which you and your trainer will discuss your preferences and outline your training.  At the end of the consultation call the trainer will schedule your custom training session. 
  • Consultation Call: Your trainer will send you a reminder email with recommended Cloudbeds University Courses for you and your staff to take, along with the date, time and training link for your custom training session

The consultation call can be bypassed and is not mandatory to schedule your training.

  • Day of training: You and your team will click the zoom meeting link in the calendar invite to access the virtual classroom.  Once training concludes, your trainer will send a training summary to you and any contacts at Cloudbeds that require follow up.  This email will end the training engagement.  
  • Post Training: Your trainer will send you a post training email with the training recording link, and log in credentials of a test demo account to practice up to 7 days post training. One month after training you will receive a survey to determine the impact of your training.  
  • Onboarding Customers will receive communications within 3 weeks of their go-live date.
  • You must book training 30 days from purchase or training will be forfeited.
  • Training fee becomes non-refundable 7 days from purchase date.

Terms and Conditions

Scheduling Policies
  • Clients must respond to the Consultation scheduling email within 7 days.  Failure to schedule within this time-frame will result in the consultation call being forfeited. At this time you will receive an email with a training schedule link with a required questionnaire.   
  • Training is scheduled 1 week in advance but may be scheduled as far out as 90 days in advance..
  • Clients must respond to email communication within 30 days.  Failure to schedule within this time-frame will result in the training being forfeited.

Timely booking is the key to keeping your timeline on track.

Rescheduling
  • 3 days prior to scheduled session: Training sessions can be rescheduled with no penalty if it is 3 days or more before the event. 
  • Within 2 days prior to scheduled session: Training sessions canceled within 2 days of the scheduled date will be required to take place within 7 days of the original date.  Failure to comply will result in forfeiting the training.   
  • On the day of or after the scheduled session: Cancellations of sessions on the day of or no-shows can be scheduled within a time-frame of 7 days. After the 7 days the training will become forfeit. 
  • The trainer will wait for 15 minutes prior to ending a session due to client no-show.
