If you do not have a listing on Agoda yet and you would like to create one, you can do it without leaving myfrontdesk (Cloudbeds PMS). Please check all the details below.
We only send the data as it exists at the time of submission - once your Agoda Listing was created, you can not edit your content on Cloudbeds anymore. All future edits must be done on your Agoda extranet directly.
If you have already manually created an account on Agoda extranet for your property, you cannot move forward with the setup in myfrontdesk. In this case, log in to your Agoda extranet and continue the setup there.
- Under Channel Distribution section, click on Channels
- Search for Agoda and click on Create New Listing
Create your Agoda Listing
In order to create your Agoda Listing from within myfrontdesk, please follow the steps below
- Select your property type
Agoda requires different information for Vacation Rentals versus non-Vacation Rental property types, and we adjust the setup process based on your selection.
General property Details
- The system will auto-fill some of your Property Details, but feel free to edit or add further details, if needed.
- Depending on your property type, the fields can vary. For example, Vacation Rentals/ Apartments will have some extra fields to fill in such as: Total Number of Guest Rooms, Rental License Number, Directions to property, House Rules, or Local Area Info.
- Property Name: the first character cannot be a number, a special character, or a non-English character, otherwise, you will receive an error "The property name value is not valid".
- Property Description Restrictions: Make sure you are following the below rules:
- Word count cannot exceed 160 words
- Content must be unique
- Content must be written in paragraph format
- Content must not include the property's location, facilities and other unique selling points

- Enter a readily available contact person
- This information will not be shared with your guests
- Enter your policies in regards to check-in and check-out times, age requirements, children and payment options
- Check-in/Check-out policies are pre-filled based on your myfrontdesk details, but you can also change it
- Property Amenities
There is a long list of amenities offered, so you might want to use the following tools to filter:
- Search - helps you to find needed information
- Category - amenities categories
- Selection Status - helps you to see all selected or unselected amenities
- Show Popular Only - it comes from the channel, so you will see only the most popular amenities which are used on Agoda side
Certain amenities are highlighted in blue, such as Fitness Center and Guest Parking below indicating that they are clickable. If you click on any of those, you will be able to edit the details.
The Edit Amenity Details window will be also shown when you select the amenity for the first time.
- Additional Property Details
Fill in the information which you want to be displayed on Agoda channel:
- Your accommodation details comes from the Accommodation Types section
- Click on each accommodation in order to edit the information you want to be shown on Agoda or click on pencil icon next to the room name
- Map to the corresponding channel accommodation
You can see the following statuses in front of each accommodation:
- Red icon - the accommodation is not mapped
- Green icon - the set up was completed
All changes made during the setup process for your listing will be reflected on Agoda side only, and Cloudbeds details will remain the same.
- Assign the amenities to each room room type
- The difference between this page and the previous amenities page (step 5 above), is that here you need to apply certain amenity to each room(s)
- Upload at least 3 property images and 1 photo per accommodation type
- Drag and drop the images on this page or click on Select image to upload from your device
Click on the 'X' icon in the right bottom corner of each picture if you need to delete an existing image
Taxes and fees - will be seen by guests during the booking process
- If you do not see your desired tax or fee on this step, you can finish the process and then you need to contact Agoda support team directly after listing creation.
Cancellation Policies - Optional
- You will assign the cancellation policies in a later step
- Click on ADD to set up your cancellation policies
- This is an optional step - Click on continue to skip this step
Once you click on Add:
- Select one of the default cancellation policies OR
- Click on Customized cancellation policy in order to add your own policy
- Create Agoda's Rate Plan:
- Click on ADD
- Name your rate plan - you guests will not see this name
- Choose to which room you want to apply this rate plan
- Choose the cancellation policy for this rate plan
- Select if you want to include meals in this rate plan
- Chose meals options
- Click on CREATE PROPERTY once you finish
- Review Content & Create Property
At this stage your property was not yet created in Agoda yet, and you can come and go from setup while your info is saved locally on Cloudbeds.
Once you finish your Agoda listing creation (when you click on the CREATE PROPERTY button at the end of setup) and agree to the Terms and Conditions you cannot view / edit your content on Cloudbeds anymore - all future edits must be done on your Agoda extranet directly.
- Review the information provided by clicking VIEW/EDIT in front of each section
- Click on CREATE PROPERTY once all is reviewed and ready
- Click on CONFIRM to create your property on Agoda
Accept Terms and Conditions
On the last page you will see Agoda's Terms and Conditions:
- Select the check box to agree
- Click AGREE
- Read the information and click OK
Keep an eye out on your inbox for an email from Agoda confirming the new property creation and a link to your extranet where you can make changes going forward.
Once you accept Terms and Conditions you will see the Agoda status as LISTING CREATION IN PROGRESS and you will not be able to access this channel until the review is finished by Agoda channel
When the activation is confirmed by Agoda, you will receive an email from email@example.com (also check your spam folder) - This email doesn't include your credentials.
