Cloudbeds' second December release carries some system improvements: new languages available for Mybookings booking engine, functionality allowing the use of Mybookings URLs to search for a particular room type or/and rate plan, an update for pending payments in House Account, a new role permission and fixed order of channels on Channels page.  

Addition of 4 new languages

  • Czech language added to the booking engine, invoicing and emailing
  • Macedonian language added to the booking engine, invoicing and emailing
  • Romanian language added to the booking engine, invoicing and emailing
  • Slovakian language added to the booking engine, invoicing and emailing

Booking Engine Parameters

Additional capabilities to search for a particular room type or/and rate plan has been added.

Now you will be able to specify a particular room type/ rate plan to display in MyBookings using the special parameters in the URL. The article with detailed information:

Pending Payments will display on House Accounts

When a payment or refund is added to a House Account for a future date, the payment currently does not appear until it is posted (on the date it is scheduled for). From now on all pending future payments will appear on the house accounts.

Order of channels on Channel Distribution will appear in alphabetical order

Currently all the channels Cloudbeds is integrated with do not appear in alphabetical order, making difficult to find the channel in the list. All channels will be sorted alphabetically going forward.

New permission - create and edit reservations 1 day in past

Previously users were able to create new reservations or modify existing reservations for only one day in the past. A few releases ago, a permission was added allowing the user(s) to create or modify reservations as far back as they like. Another new permission is now being added allowing the user(s) to create or modify reservations for only 1 day in the past to account for late night and early morning walk-ins.
