PIE - Events

This article provides an overview of the Events section on PIE, including how to create a new Event, filter existing Events, and sort the Events list.

Overview

The Events page allows you to indicate dates, which are expected to generate demand for your property, like a large concert or the World Cup. You can also add in-house Events, such as:

  • Group meetings
  • Workshops
  • Celebrations that are held at the property

Manage Events

Add a New Event

  1. Starting from the PIE section of your Main Menu, click on the Events page
  2. Click on Add Event

  1. Add the Event title
  2. Enter the Start and End Dates
  3. Enter the Event Description (optional)
  4. Click on Save Event
  5. The new Event will be added to your list

Filter Events

Use the Filter feature to search for specific events within the list of events that you have created

  PIE events are visible for one year counting from the current date

  1. Enter a Search keyword
  2. Filter by date range to populate the list of events that have at least 1 night overlapping with the selected dates
  3. Filter by Event status (past, current and future)
  4. Click Apply to populate the list based on your search parameters

Once the list is populated, you can sort it by the Start and End date clicking on the arrows on the right of the column headers.

Where to review my Events?

Once events are added, they will appear in the following areas:

  • Overview page (Upcoming Events section)
  • Rate Manager (Events row under the calendar dates)
  • The Events page will populate full list of created events. Search from this list using the Filter at the top of the page.
